It is whether or not they have romantic feelings towards the player character. It's not about whether or not they are romancable by the player character. It was always just being preached at non-stop no matter what I had my character say, which IMO doesn't fit well with a game that's supposed to have dialog options. I'm fine if that's the direction they wanted to go with the game, but as a game with dialog choices, I never felt like my character had any choices in talking to people. But of course it's my character's fault for not knowing that and I'm still expected to help this asshole anyways.Īnd when I met the Jedi council for the first time the whoooole conversation was about how shitty it was for my character to leave the Jedi and it just went on and on about it, and then of course my character is still expected to be the only one to go on a huge quest for them. Like I'm doing a main story quest to find a Jedi (on Dantooine I think), you find him imprisoned, and then he gets pissed at you because getting thrown in jail was apparently part of his plans.

It's not just Kreia either, it seems like everywhere you go you just get preached at no matter what you do.

I fully agree with the OP, I played KOTOR 2 for the first time a few years ago I couldn't stand most of the conversations in the game.
